The Spotlight on Sanitary and Bathroom Equipment During the 137th Canton Fair Phase 2 Reflects Global Life Quality Aspirations
The 137th Canton Fair's Focus on Sanitary and Bathroom Equipment
The 137th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, is a significant event in the global trade calendar. After the successful conclusion of Phase 1 on April 19, Phase 2 kicked off on April 23, 2025, running until April 27. This phase features an array of specialized exhibition areas, prominently displaying categories such as sanitary and bathroom equipment, household goods, gift items, general ceramics, building materials, and furniture. Notably, the sector focused on sanitary and bathroom equipment highlights the increasing global demand for smarter and more refined living spaces.
Commenting on the fair, Zhang Chao from HUIDA Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. emphasized the long-standing role of the Canton Fair as a strategic platform for the company's global expansion efforts. Continuing this tradition, HUIDA introduced its latest intelligent toilet series at this year's event, which prioritizes advanced technology, cleanliness, and user comfort—attributes that have captured the attention of international buyers.
The intelligent toilet series represents a leap in modern living enhancements, showcasing features designed for improved hygiene and comfort. Among these innovations are self-diagnosis capabilities, foot-activated flushing, and an Infinite-Bit control knob. Cleanliness is a paramount focus, incorporating advanced water purification, pre-wash functions, and self-cleaning nozzles. Furthermore, user convenience is enhanced by features like automatic flushing, warm and cold water massage cleaning, and a built-in air purification filter system.
Xu Jin, a product manager at HUIDA, noted that the company provides region-specific adaptations to their product line. The design's elimination of a traditional water tank not only saves space in bathrooms but also simplifies installation and reduces technical complexities. This user-friendly approach resonates with the rising consumer demand for practical yet easily maintainable solutions.
Another standout at the Fair was Zhangzhou Wanhui Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd., which impressed attendees with several intelligent, health-oriented bathroom solutions. These products include advanced toilets featuring pressure-less water flushing systems, highly efficient vortex flushing technology that conserves up to 40% water, self-cleaning antibacterial glazing, and a quiet 45-decibel flush. Additionally, the company introduced an intelligent mirror cabinet equipped with sensor-controlled lighting and integrated fog-free technology for a seamless bathroom experience.
IDEAL Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. also made waves at the event as the first Chinese manufacturer of shower rooms to open a design center in Germany. Their elegantly designed cabins, which combine aesthetic appeal with daily practicality, garnered considerable interest from international buyers.
As the bathroom transitions from a purely private space towards a more experiential one, consumer expectations are evolving. With a strong emphasis on intelligent features, aesthetic design, and enhanced functionality, exhibitors at the Canton Fair are responding with innovative solutions that cater to the modern pursuit of an upscale lifestyle.
