DENSO, one of the foremost suppliers in the mobility sector, has undertaken significant changes to its organizational framework and leadership roles within North America. This strategic evolution is aimed at enabling the company to swiftly adapt to the dynamic nature of the market while simultaneously enhancing its innovative capabilities. The updates became effective from January 1, 2026, reflecting a proactive approach to business management and collaboration within DENSO’s global framework.
Reinforcing Leadership Teams
The restructuring introduces new leadership positions within the North America Executive Board, demonstrating a clear commitment to aligning with DENSO's global objectives. Andy Clemence, an experienced member of the team, has been elevated to the role of senior director and executive vice president for North America. Along with continuing to steer the Green Business Group, he will also assume the mantle of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This newly minted role is pivotal, ensuring that the company’s technological advancements are in sync with the evolving demands of the North American market and its customer base.
The organization also welcomed Hitoshi "Hiro" Hayase to the Executive Board, who took on the dual responsibilities of senior director and executive vice president while continuing to lead the North America Production Innovation Center (NAPIC). With names like Pankaj Takoo and Ryota Tosaka stepping into senior roles, DENSO is positioning itself to better meet the needs of American automotive markets while maximizing outreach and engagement.
