Celebrating 80 Years of USCIB: A Legacy of Global Business Advocacy

USCIB Marks 80th Anniversary in 2025

This year, the United States Council for International Business (USCIB) proudly commemorates its 80th anniversary, a significant milestone for an organization that has been a cornerstone of American business representation on the global stage since its foundation in 1945. The USCIB was established in the same year as the United Nations, reflecting a commitment among American business leaders to influence international policies that support economic growth and sustainable development.

Whitney Baird, USCIB's President and CEO, emphasized the organization's enduring mission: "For eighty years, USCIB has been a powerful voice for US business, working to amplify and advance US leadership on the world stage. While much has changed since USCIB's founding, our society continues to face complex challenges. We remain committed to elevating the role of US business as a valuable partner with multilateral and international decision-makers."
