This captivating event runs from May 27 to June 2, offering aviation enthusiasts a rare opportunity to witness and engage with two remarkable pieces of military history.

The tour not only showcases these historic aircraft but also promises an unforgettable experience with warbird ride opportunities. Visitors will be able to climb aboard and fly in both the B-29 and the P-51, with rides available on the weekends leading up to the event's conclusion. The joy of flying will be complemented by the chance to explore the interiors of these historic machines when they are grounded.

"The B-29 and P-51 share a fascinating history that narrates America’s airpower during World War II," noted Dan Schone, aircraft commander of B-29 DOC. "Bringing these two incredible warbirds together allows history to resonate with visitors in a hands-on manner."

In addition to the aircraft, the museum will host the 51st Annual East Coast Military Vehicle Rally. Scheduled for May 30 and 31, the rally will bring together stunning historic military vehicles ranging from WWII to modern times. Visitors can peruse over 200 vendor booths filled with military collectibles, providing ample opportunity to connect with other enthusiasts and commemorate the legacy of those who served.

Moreover, a selection of food trucks will enhance the experience, fueling the energy of attendees as they take part in the various activities throughout the event. Access to the museum, the aircraft ramp, cockpit tours, and military vehicle displays is available for a nominal fee of $15 per person, making it an affordable outing for families and history buffs alike.
