Invitation to Veterans at the 2026 Building Industry Show
The Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC) has remarkable news for U.S. military veterans. They are extending a heartfelt invitation to attend the 2026 Building Industry Show (BIS) free of charge—a gesture of gratitude for the immense sacrifices these individuals have made for the nation.
Event Details
The BIS is scheduled for September 2-3, 2026, at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa located in Indian Wells, California. This year's show will bring together over a thousand professionals from the homebuilding and housing sectors for two engaging days filled with opportunities for networking, education, entertainment, and unique industry experiences.
The exhibitor show floor will showcase over 100 exhibitors, ranging from top-notch homebuilders to suppliers in the housing industry. This presents a fantastic opportunity for veterans looking to explore career paths in the homebuilding trade.
Jeff Montejano, the CEO of BIASC, expressed, "Veterans have made tremendous sacrifices in service to our country, and we want to recognize and thank them by opening the doors of BIS to them." He hopes veterans from various regions will take part in the event and discover the exciting developments within the housing industry.
A Unique Industry Experience
BIS 2026 aims to redefine traditional trade shows, offering an environment that encourages meaningful interactions. Attendees will get to engage directly with builders, developers, suppliers, and business leaders who are pivotal in shaping the future of housing. Confirmed homebuilders at this year’s show include renowned names such as Lennar Homes, Shea Homes, and Richmond American, among others.
Jason Galarze, who leads veteran affairs at BIASC, stated, "For veterans who have transitioned into civilian careers—or who are exploring new professional opportunities—this is also an opportunity to meet industry leaders, build relationships, and discover the many career and business opportunities available throughout the housing industry."
The BIS breaks away from the typical trade show model to create an engaging atmosphere that balances strategic meetings with entertainment. Attendees can expect a vibrant experience that keeps them engaged throughout the event, as evidenced by past participants who have remarked, "There is no trade show like BIS."
Registration and Attendance
Though exhibitor booth space has been sold out, registration remains available for attendees. Veterans who wish to take advantage of this opportunity can reach out to Jason Galarze at [email protected] for access to the exhibitor show floor or the exclusive Meet the Builder session.
