Prelude Festival Information

The committee behind the Animate Girls Festival has just announced important details for its pre-event, set to take place on November 7, 2025. This year’s fun kicks off as major figures in the anime community gather for an evening filled with games and excitement!

Date and Time

The pre-event is scheduled for November 7th from 17:30 to 20:00, although the exact ending time may vary based on gaming activities.

Venue

Join us at the Sunshine City Fountain Square located in Ikebukuro, where fans can gather. Please note that there will be no live streaming of this event, but you can catch live updates at the Animate Ikebukuro Main Store, which will display the pre-event on its signage.

The main attraction will be the 'animate game fight!!' event, returning for another exciting round. Our guests will be battling in Mario Kart World on Nintendo Switch 2. Lucky fans who win the pre-lottery will get to join the guests in a racing battle!

The event features both a 'Priority Viewing Area' and a 'Free Viewing Area.'

Priority Viewing Area

Want to secure a seat? You'll need a ticket obtained via prior lottery through Club Animate, which will grant you access to the premier viewing area right in front of the stage.

Free Viewing Area

For those who prefer a more casual approach, the Free Viewing Area allows spontaneous attendance near the fountain square but may be restricted in capacity due to general traffic, so plan accordingly!

Each participant can team up with one of our star guests for friendly racing in Mario Kart World. Interested in joining? Be sure to sign up for the race participation lottery through Club Animate, where winners will not only race but also enjoy priority viewing!
