Encouraging Green Initiatives in Hiroshima
In an effort to promote environmental business innovation in Hiroshima, 01Booster has launched a significant new initiative. As a company dedicated to fostering open innovation and supporting new business development, 01Booster has organized an information session about their program aimed at engaging local companies in the environmental sector. This event was held on June 2, 2026, at the Innovation Hub Hiroshima Camps located in the heart of Hiroshima City.
The Program Overview
This initiative is part of the Hiroshima Environmental Business Promotion Council's efforts to create a vibrant ecosystem for sustainable business ventures. The program provides a comprehensive two-stage support structure. The first stage, named "Dojo," includes training for approximately 15 selected companies within the prefecture. This stage is designed to refine business proposals and prepare participants for practical implementation. Following an intermediate assessment, five businesses will be selected to proceed to the second stage.
The second stage offers tailored support, focusing on hypothesis validation and product development to facilitate the commercialization of these innovative ideas within the fiscal year. With the primary goal of establishing organizations that lead the environmental and energy sectors in Hiroshima, the program aims to foster sustainable economic growth.
Application Details
Applications are accepted from May 20, 2026, until June 24, 2026. Eligible candidates must have a physical business presence in Hiroshima Prefecture and should present themes aligned with new market entry in the environmental and energy fields, as well as developing new products or services. Approximately 15 companies will be selected for the first stage, and participation is free of charge, although travel and communication expenses will be borne by the participants.
