Alleyway Developers Cloud Debuts at Tokyo Game Show 2026

In light of this year’s unprecedented five-day format of the Tokyo Game Show (TGS), the newly formed indie game developer community known as the "Alleyway Developers Cloud" is making its inaugural appearance at the event, taking place from September 17 to 21, 2026, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. This initiative, spearheaded by Kiraido LLC, aims to support individual developers by alleviating the challenges of exhibiting over an extended period.

The Birth of a Community

The concept of the Alleyway Developers Cloud originated from a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where Kiraido LLC called upon indie developers to join efforts for the TGS. The response has been remarkable, with over 100 participants now comprising individual game developers, translators, streamers, and media professionals. As a result, what began as a practical solution to a logistical challenge has blossomed into a dynamic community poised to showcase their creative talents.

What to Expect at the TGS Booth

At the heart of TGS 2026, visitors will find the Alleyway Developers Cloud's booth located at the Indie Game Corner (H9-E32), in partnership with Blast Edge Games. Five dedicated development teams will be presenting their unique titles, all of which will be available for hands-on play. Here are the featured games:
