Exclusive Member Event: A Backstage Tour of 'Crash Landing on You'

recri held its first exclusive member event in the Kansai region at the
COOL JAPAN PARK OSAKA WW Hall. This special gathering revolved around the renowned musical
Crash Landing on You, which features a unique storyline and captivating performances.

Arrival and Registration
As the day began, members were greeted at a special registration desk just for
recri members. Attendees expressed their excitement towards
recri's expansion in Kansai and were given exclusive passes for the event.

The event commenced with the screening of the main performance. Using tickets provided by

Part One: Meet & Greet with Cast and Producer
A notable highlight was the meet-and-greet with four major cast members portraying the
5th platoon along with the producer, Kim Tae-hyun. The event included an engaging after-talk where the cast members shared behind-the-scenes stories and experiences related to their character development. This intimate session also featured a Q&A, allowing audience members to ask questions directly to the performers, thereby bridging the gap between fans and creators.
Part Two: Stage Experience and Prop Tour
The next segment involved dividing participants into groups for an exclusive look onto the stage itself. This was a unique opportunity to see the performance space from the perspective of the cast. As they explored the set up close, attendees learned about the thoughtfully designed props used in the show, enhancing their appreciation for the production. Crash Landing on You tells the love story between a South Korean heir, Yoon Se-ri, and a North Korean soldier, Ri Jung-hyuk, who meet after she accidentally paraglides into North Korean territory. Since its airing in December 2019, it has become a global sensation, garnering immense popularity even five years later. The musical adaptation premiered in South Korea in September 2022 and has been highly anticipated for its Japanese debut, set for February 2024. This has prompted a rapid re-staging due to its overwhelming success.
Storyline: Yoon Se-ri, an affluent South Korean businesswoman, encounters a tornado while paragliding, which leads her to land in North Korea's demilitarized zone. Upon realizing her predicament, she attempts to flee but inadvertently heads deeper into North Korean territory. Eventually discovered by Ri Jung-hyuk, the North Korean soldier, he takes her into hiding at his home, leading to a complex web of deception as they develop feelings for each other amid their politically charged circumstances. Meanwhile, Se-ri's past romantic interest, Goo Seung-jun, also enters North Korea, adding further intrigue to the already complicated love story.
