Successful Crowdfunding for a Permanent Children's Cafeteria
Daiki Ogawa and Daiki Yamada, both former professional soccer players, have made a significant mark in their community through their NPO, ReFrame. After just three weeks of launching their crowdfunding project on Spportunity, they have reached an incredible milestone, securing 5 million yen towards their goal of establishing a permanent children’s cafeteria in Hamamatsu. The initiative highlights their commitment to giving back to the community, inspired by their experiences with children in care facilities and pediatric wards.
Project Overview
ReFrame was founded in 2022, emerging from the duo's desire to empower children’s dreams. They have been actively involved in various supportive activities, including educational experience programs, meal provision, and logistical support. Their aspiration is to create a nurturing community space where children can feel safe and engaged.
The funds raised through this crowdfunding will be specifically allocated for the initial setup costs of the multifunctional children’s cafeteria, aimed at providing a safe environment where children can drop by after school to do homework, chat with peers, or simply share a meal. This cafeteria will serve as a welcoming hub, focusing on comfort and community interaction.
Funding Goals
The campaign is set to run from December 1, 2025, to January 25, 2026, with the ultimate fundraising target set at 10 million yen. The collected funds will be utilized not only for acquiring and renovating the property but also for implementing necessary equipment, ensuring safety and hygiene management, and creating an engaging atmosphere for learning and socializing.
