Itochu Urban Development Becomes Title Sponsor for Machu Picchu Exhibition

Itochu Urban Development Joins as Title Sponsor for Machu Picchu Exhibition

Itochu Urban Development Corporation, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, has been announced as the title sponsor for the upcoming "Machu Picchu Exhibition," which will kick off on November 22, 2025. This remarkable exhibition is organized by NEON JAPAN, a subsidiary focused on experience-driven entertainment, and showcases a collection of approximately 130 artifacts that were borrowed from the prestigious Larco Museum in Lima, Peru, under the endorsement of the Peruvian government.

Visitors to the exhibition can look forward to seeing extraordinary treasures, including golden ornaments discovered in royal tombs, as well as ceremonial tools used in temple rituals. Many of these artifacts will be displayed for the first time outside of Peru. The exhibition has already captivated more than 540,000 attendees across four cities worldwide, creating a significant impact in the cultural landscape.

The Machu Picchu Exhibition is a unique experience that goes beyond just visual artifacts; it incorporates immersive audio and visual elements to transport visitors into the world of the Andean mythological hero, Ayapac. Attendees will embark on an intellectual adventure like no other, making this exhibition a true “experiential cultural showcase.”

The official website for the exhibition can be found at Machu Picchu Exhibition Official Site.

In partnership with NEON Group Limited, headquartered in Singapore, Itochu Urban Development is looking to expand its experience-driven entertainment initiatives in Japan. The company, led by CEO Ron Tan, aims to leverage NEON's rich content and exhibition expertise. As part of this collaboration, the first exhibition organized by NEON JAPAN is the "ACN Ramses II Exhibition: The Golden Pharaohs," which will commence on March 8, 2025, at CREVIA BASE Tokyo, a venue which Itochu has secured naming rights for.

Similarly, for the second exhibition, the "CREVIA Machu Picchu Exhibition," Itochu Urban Development aims to enhance the brand recognition and value of its residential brand, CREVIA, through its title sponsorship.

Future plans also include hosting various other exhibitions related to films and national treasures through NEON’s collaboration, creating exceptional and memorable experiences for all attendees.
