Explore Global Home Cooking with Kikkoman
On September 6, 2025, the Kikkoman International Food Culture Research Center will host a unique culinary event titled "Global Home Cooking from the Kitchen's Perspective." This engaging seminar, led by renowned home cooking expert Yuka Yamaguchi, will begin at 14:00, held at the Kikkoman Tokyo Headquarters KCC Hall. This event is designed to share the rich tapestry of global home cooking and its cultural significance. With only 28 spots available for in-person attendance, participants are encouraged to register quickly, as places are limited.
Yuka Yamaguchi embodies the essence of home cooking. Having developed a passion for cooking at the tender age of seven, she transitioned from traditional publishing and PR work into the world of freelance cooking education and consultancy. With initiatives aimed at demystifying the cooking process for beginners, Yuka has established herself as a key figure in promoting the art of home cooking. Her achievements include interactive cooking lessons, seminars, catering, writing, and video content that all aim to inspire people to embrace the joy of cooking at home.
In her upcoming lecture, Yuka will delve into the diverse culinary practices she encountered during her travels to 12 countries, reinforcing her belief that cooking extends far beyond mere nourishment. It is an avenue towards enriching one’s life. Participants can expect insights into the various cultural influences on food, as well as an exploration of new perspectives on Japanese cuisine.
