Magic Art & Craft Time
Children created their own magical hats, which they later used during the show. The delighted exclamations of "It popped out!" and "So cute!" echoed around the room as they interacted with their creations, embodying the role of mini magicians.
Magical Challenge Games
Participants enjoyed classic games like Old Maid and Concentration using large playing cards. It was heartening to see groups collaborating and communicating in English, with enthusiastic calls of "Next!" showcasing their growing language skills.
Exciting Magic Show
The excitement reached a peak during the magic show itself. Not only the kids but the staff were captivated, eagerly anticipating each trick while questioning, "What will happen next?" This engaging blend of magic and English instilled a sense of motivation among the participants, further igniting their desire to learn more.
Promoting a Love for English
A former instructor from Alive, who taught English to children in the past, performed during the show, symbolizing the long-lasting connection between the school and its teachers. This event marked a heartfelt reunion, not just for the children but also for the staff, deepening ties within the Alive community.
The gleam in the children's eyes during the magic tricks illuminated the joy of learning English, manifesting in moments that could inspire a lifelong fascination with the language. At Alive, we aspire to cultivate curiosity and interest in English through engaging experiences, as evidenced by the many first-time English learners attending the event.
In contrast, those with previous English lessons utilized their knowledge actively, experimenting with their language skills confidently.
Looking ahead, Alive English School's Atsuta branch aims to continue providing a variety of events that make English education feel accessible and enjoyable. Our goal is for all children to feel that learning English is fun!
