Introducing Education Insights: A New Series for Educators
The Teaching Awards Trust, a prominent UK charity, proudly announces the launch of
Education Insights, an exciting new series of events aimed at gathering educators, leaders, and thinkers to discuss crucial topics that will shape the future of education. Supported by
Nord Anglia Education, this initiative is set to kick off in January 2026 and promises to create a dynamic platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange among professionals.
The series launch on
January 27 in Manchester, with the first event titled
“A Focus on Resilience”. This event will feature Musharaf Asghar, a former student known from the hit show
“Educating Yorkshire,” as the keynote speaker. Participants will delve into resilience and its importance in cultivating a supportive educational atmosphere for students. The discussions aim to inspire educators and provide them with practical insights for enhancing their teaching approaches.
Following the Manchester event, Education Insights will continue with four additional occasions throughout February, tackling vital topics such as
Future Skills and
Metacognition—skills that help young people understand their learning processes better. Each event will host esteemed panels comprised of globally recognized experts who are passionate about youth development. Notable speakers include David Olusoga OBE, a BAFTA-winning historian, and Adrianne Chapman, Deputy Head of the renowned
BRIT School.
Mary Palmer, CEO of The Teaching Awards Trust, emphasizes the urgent need for a focus on education within national discourse. “Through these events, we hope to highlight the remarkable contributions of educators and inspire both current professionals and those considering entering the field, creating a vibrant community of innovation.”
