Launch of VAZ × Twin Planet Idol Project

The esteemed VAZ Co., Ltd. from Chuo City, Tokyo, led by CEO Tetsuya Tani, has partnered with TWIN PLANET Co., Ltd. from Shibuya, Tokyo, managed by Kenji Yajima, to announce an exciting new idol project. This partnership aims to develop and promote a dynamic new idol group with its official debut slated for 2026. To kick off this initiative, auditions will open for prospective members starting October 5, 2025.

Project Overview

VAZ is renowned for nurturing influencers who attract loyal fans primarily from Generation Z and Alpha, particularly through their popular YouTube channel "MelPuchi". With a solid foundation in digital content production revolving around YouTube and social media, VAZ is breaking new ground by nurturing a traditional idol group. This project amalgamates VAZ’s strengths in influencer marketing with Twin Planet's extensive experience in artist production and the entertainment sector, aiming to forge an idol group that resonates with the evolving landscape of pop culture.

The initial members will include several familiar faces: Mahoko Seno, who has been the center of MelPuchi, Hinano Nishino, who is also an active member of MelPuchi, and Remoni Oki, who was a key member of the unit 'Fujikouzu' from the show All Night Fujiko. Additionally, new talents from VAZ, Miu Takahashi and Yuzuki Suzumiya, have been selected to create a vibrant mix of personalities. The auditions will select up to five more members to complete this fresh idol group, characterized by diversity and energy.
