The charming and inviting atmosphere of Fort Lauderdale Beach will once again host the much-anticipated
6th Annual Pumpkins & Palm Trees Fall Festival, presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale Beach Business Improvement District (BBID), on
October 24, 2026. This vibrant celebration is set to transform
Las Olas Oceanside Park into a bustling hub of autumnal joy, complete with exciting activities for families and visitors alike.
A Day Full of Bountiful Fun
This year’s festival continues its tradition of offering
free admission to all participants, ensuring that the
family-friendly environment remains accessible to everyone. The festival will kick off at
9 a.m., with activities continuing throughout the day until
5 p.m. Attendees can immerse themselves in an array of complimentary activities, including:

- - The Broward Center's Trick-or-Treat Trail, featuring costumed performers and treats for the little ones
- - Balloon artistry, lawn games with candy prizes, and much more
Expanded Carnival Experience
Building upon the success of last year’s festival, this year introduces an
expanded carnival experience with an array of inflatable attractions. Families can choose from two wristband options:
1.
$10 Carnival Wristband: Provides
unlimited access to all inflatable attractions and five classic carnival games like Bank a Ball and Down a Clown, where participants can win plush prizes.
2.
$12 Carnival Wristband + Pumpkin: Includes everything from the $10 option plus a chance to decorate one pumpkin at the Coastal Wealth-sponsored decorating station (while supplies last).
Student Pie Baking Competition
One of the festival highlights is the
6th Annual Student Pie Baking Competition, presented by
FRLA Broward. This exciting event showcases the skills of aspiring young bakers from across the region. The competition not only highlights the abundant culinary talent but also emphasizes the importance of fostering the next generation of hospitality professionals. Rozeta Mahboubi, Chapter Director of FRLA Broward, expresses pride in the competition's growth and its positive impact on young participants.
Musical Treats and Entertainment
As part of this year's program, young performers from the Broward Center Spotlights will bring music to life along the
Trick-or-Treat Trail, delighting children and families with performances inspired by the Center's current season productions. This unique blend of music and trick-or-treating makes for an engaging experience.
Community Connections and Support
Festival organizers, including Lisa Namor, BBID Chair and General Manager of Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach, aim to foster community spirit and pride in Fort Lauderdale Beach as a delightful destination for families and visitors. The
Oceanside Community Market will operate alongside festival activities from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering local goods and a taste of the community’s creativity.
