This summer, the prestigious Imperial Hotel will host the highly anticipated urban jazz festival, Imperial Jazz 2026. Focusing on the theme of “Real Jazz”, the event celebrates the true essence of jazz through a vibrant line-up of renowned artists. Scheduled for August 12 in Tokyo and August 9 in Osaka, the festival is set to thrill jazz enthusiasts with a spectacular showcase of talent.

The Imperial Hotel has a rich history of hosting jazz events since 2004, welcoming approximately 47,000 attendees across its Tokyo and Osaka venues over the years. This year, tickets go on sale starting on May 20 at 10:00 AM, allowing fans to secure their spots for an unforgettable summer celebration of music and culture.

In addition to the main event, a pre-festival dinner show will kick off the celebrations on August 11 in Tokyo. Featuring acclaimed Rakugo performer Shota Shunpūtei, the evening will blend traditional storytelling and jazz, offering a unique and delightful experience. Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner while being entertained by the Swingy Okuda & The Blue Sky Orchestra alongside celebrated artists such as Sayori Yuki and Nobuyoshi Kuwano.
