Exciting news for golf enthusiasts! 2K has officially launched Golf PGA Tour 2K25 for the Nintendo Switch 2, bringing with it all the beloved features of the series. This new version allows players to dive into the franchise's rich modes, including MyCareer and cross-platform online society features, all while providing the flexibility to play offline or online as long as there’s internet access.

What’s New in Golf PGA Tour 2K25?

The game introduces innovative mechanics like EvoSwing and Perfect Swing, enhancing the gameplay experience. Players can choose from 11 professional golfers and explore 29 real-world golf courses, making Golf PGA Tour 2K25 more accessible and immersive than ever before. The controls and gameplay elements have been designed to suit both newcomers and seasoned players alike.

Premium Editions Available

Nintendo Switch 2 users have multiple options to experience the game, including two premium editions: the Golf PGA Tour 2K25 Legend Edition Year 2 and the Golf PGA Tour 2K25 Pro Edition. The Legend Edition Year 2 includes exclusive content from the original Legend Edition along with the Clubhouse Pass, unlocking premium seasons 6 through 8, a Clubhouse Gear Pack, and a Pro Accelerator Pack that features items to enhance MyPlayer's abilities as well as exclusive PING irons and Puma footwear.

The Pro Edition incorporates the contents of the Deluxe Edition along with the Pro Accelerator Pack. For those who already own the standard version of Golf PGA Tour 2K25, the Pro Accelerator Pack can be purchased separately.

Upcoming Major Championships

Mark your calendars, as the first of three major championships leading to 2026 will be broadcasted live from the Aronomink Golf Club during the 2026 PGA Championship, free for all players. Additional events, including the 126th U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills and the 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, will also be available in future seasons via automatic updates for all players. Other major events, including the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club, the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, and the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club, will also be playable.

Enhanced MyCareer Experience

Players can look forward to a revamped MyCareer mode featuring new attributes and skill trees, allowing them to create and enhance their MyPlayer in unprecedented ways. Engage in new training sessions and pre-tournament events at one’s own pace. The game also boasts a multiplayer mode for friendly competitions and a course designer with high levels of customization.
