Automotive Hall of Fame Broadcast of 2025 Induction Ceremony
The Automotive Hall of Fame is set to make history once again by broadcasting its 2025 Induction Ceremony globally, marking the second consecutive year of such a significant event. After the tremendous success of its first global broadcast in 2024, this year’s ceremony promises an even more engaging experience for automotive enthusiasts around the world.
Scheduled for September 25, 2025, the broadcast will commence at 6 p.m. Eastern Time and will originate from The Department at Hudson's in downtown Detroit. Thousands of viewers are expected to tune in from over 29 different countries, underscoring the event’s international appeal and the Hall of Fame’s ongoing commitment to honoring excellence in the automotive industry.
Prominent figures are set to grace the event, including the former chairman of Daimler AG, Dr. Dieter Zetsche, who expressed excitement about participating. "I have heard great things about the Automotive Hall of Fame, and my memories of Detroit are wonderful; my immediate reaction was to accept the invitation. I am grateful for this honor and look forward to September," he stated, reflecting the prestigious nature of the induction.
Joining Zetsche as a special presenter will be Roger Penske, a towering figure in motorsports and business, who will pay homage to his esteemed colleague. The celebration will also feature Bianca Senna, general manager of Senna Brands and niece of the legendary Ayrton Senna, alongside Mark Reuss, president of General Motors.
This year’s ceremony is set to include exclusive interviews with esteemed honorees, heartfelt tributes, and an insightful look at vehicles that are significant to the honorees’ legacies. Among the highlights will be a special segment dedicated to Ayrton Senna’s iconic 1992 McLaren MP4/7A, a car that has become synonymous with racing greatness.
