Celebrating 'GeGeGe no Kitaro': 'GeGeGe no Parco' Returns

The cherished collaboration campaign `GeGeGe no Parco` is back at Chofu PARCO, located in Chofu City, Tokyo! Following last year's phenomenal success, this year's event is set to be even bigger and better.

Running from November 18th (Tuesday) to November 30th (Sunday), the campaign coincides with the GeGeGe Memorial, a significant event honoring the famous manga artist Shigeru Mizuki, a proud citizen of Chofu. This memorial takes place to commemorate Mizuki’s contributions to manga and is celebrated on the anniversary of his passing, November 30th. During this period, Chofu City will host various events linked to Mizuki's legacy.

Campaign Highlights

1. Yokai Take Over PARCO

From the campaign period, beloved Yokai will be featured throughout the PARCO shopping center, ensuring a lively atmosphere filled with the charming spirits of Mizuki's universe.

2. Kitaro Store Pop-Up

Location: 1F Event Space (next to Information Counter)
Dates: November 18th - November 30th

Returning this year, the Kitaro Store will offer a plethora of merchandise from Shigeru Mizuki's works. Attendees can look forward to exclusive items available only at the venue, ahead of new releases, and a chance to participate in the Kitaro lottery (500 yen per ticket).

3. GeGeGe Memorial 2025 Toei Animation Pop-Up Store

Location: 5F Event Space
Dates: November 18th - November 30th (closes at 19:00 on final day, last entry by 18:30)

This year, Toei Animation will set up their pop-up store at Chofu PARCO, featuring original goods celebrating the GeGeGe Memorial 2025. Among the offerings, fans can find unique merchandise designed by Toru Tanida, who was responsible for character designs in GeGeGe no Kitaro: The Birth - The Mystery of GeGeGe.

4. Village Vanguard Pop-Up Shop

Location: 1F Event Space (next to Cosmetic Kitchen)
Dates: November 21st - November 30th (closes at 18:00 on final day)

Join Village Vanguard at their exclusive pop-up, showcasing an impressive collection of items from Mizuki's iconic works, especially GeGeGe no Kitaro, Kappa no Sanpei, and Akuma-kun. Original merchandise from the Yokai Shop, including t-shirts, bags, and stickers, will also be featured. Don’t miss the chance to try your luck with the Shigeru Mizuki sticker lottery.
