Expanding Horizons: OneLi Listed Hosts a Sports Event for Children

On March 22, 2025, OneLi Listed, a Tokyo-based company, collaborated with the Itabashi Educational Board to organize an exciting sports event at Tokumaru Elementary School in Itabashi. This engaging initiative aimed at supporting the growth and development of children through sports, brought together around 100 students, ranging from 4th graders to junior high school students, to participate in two dynamically designed programs: a running workshop and a boxing class.

Embracing New Challenges

The central theme of this event was to provide children with opportunities to encounter experiences they had never tried before, thereby broadening their understanding of the world. By encouraging them to take on challenges that push their limits, the organizers aimed to foster a spirit of exploration and resilience that will benefit the children in many aspects of their lives.

Utilizing Technology in the Running Workshop

The running workshop, conducted by professionals from the “0.01 SPRINT PROJECT,” involved the use of sophisticated measuring equipment provided by OneLi Listed. Children participated in timed runs of 10 meters and 50 meters, aiming to beat their previous records. The excitement was palpable as each student attempted to improve their time, cheering each other on and celebrating personal bests. This hands-on approach not only made running fun but also instilled a sense of healthy competition among the young athletes.

Engaging in the Boxing Class

Simultaneously, in the boxing class led by “ZEAL BOXING FITNESS,” participants learned the fundamentals of boxing, including stances and punching techniques. To enhance the learning experience, sensors attached to punching bags were used to measure impact strength and the number of punches thrown. Children were divided into teams, creating an engaging atmosphere filled with cheers and friendly rivalry. The program effectively mixed physical activity with skill development, offering participants a taste of the excitement surrounding sports.

A Communal Dining Experience

After the workshops, OneLi Listed provided over 200 lunches for participating children and their parents, fostering a sense of community and relaxation following the physically demanding activities. This not only gave families a chance to bond over shared experiences but also contributed to a nurturing environment within the local community.
