UBE's 19th Classic Concert: Nurturing Children's Futures Through Music

UBE Corporation's Commitment to Youth through Music

UBE Corporation, based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, is proud to announce its 19th UBE Classic Concert, set to take place on October 11, 2026, in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, where the company was founded. This concert reflects UBE's ongoing commitment to preserving the local musical culture and nurturing future generations.

In this upcoming event, UBE invites local elementary and junior high school students from Ube City, Sanyo-Onoda City, and Mine City to experience classical music at no cost, enhancing their educational journeys through exposure to high-caliber performances.

This year’s concert will feature renowned conductor Kazushi Ono, along with violin soloist Momone Hattori, who will perform with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. The program includes Brahms' Violin Concerto in D major Op.77 and Symphony No. 1 in C minor Op.68, promising an enriching experience for attendees.

Ticket sales will support UBE's continuous efforts in promoting local music culture and provide funds for initiatives such as the annual Fureai Concerts and Music Clinics, aimed at supporting the music education of the younger generation. These initiatives emphasize the importance of music education and community engagement, aligning with UBE’s values.

To celebrate the concert, a special dialogue titled "Chemistry of Hope and the Power of Music - Resonating Values" was conducted between UBE’s President, Yuki Nishida, and violinist Momone Hattori. This insightful conversation explored shared beliefs on transmitting values through corporate and musical endeavors, as well as their contributions to the community and future generations.
