New Asia Forum Launching on Bali with $30 Billion Investment Goals

New Asia Forum Set to Transform Investments in Asia

The highly anticipated New Asia Forum is scheduled to take place on December 3-4, 2026, in the stunning setting of Bali, Indonesia. This inaugural event aims to establish a significant global investment platform to foster capital formation and economic partnerships, with an ambitious goal to inject $30 billion into the New Asia region. The initiative is supported by government entities, spearheaded by Danantara Indonesia, a sovereign wealth fund, and produced by Richard Attias Associates.

The region of New Asia is witnessing a paradigm shift, with a robust economic landscape that is becoming increasingly interconnected and technologically advanced. As a testament to this growth, Asia and the Pacific are already contributing nearly 60% of global economic expansion (IMF, 2025). Despite this substantial growth, the region continues to receive a disproportionately low amount of long-term international capital. The New Asia Forum's primary mission is to bridge this gap and to mobilize resources strategically.

Unlike traditional conferences focused solely on networking, the New Asia Forum will prioritize transaction readiness, capital deployment, and actionable commitments. The $30 billion target will be achieved through a curated portfolio of investment opportunities across eight pivotal sectors:
1. Strategic resources and their utilization in related industries
2. Energy and power
3. Mobility and advanced manufacturing
4. Digital infrastructure and AI
5. Food and agriculture
6. Trade and connectivity
7. Tourism and creative economy
8. Education and human capital

The forum promises not just to bring together powerful players from these sectors but will also establish a long-term accountability framework, paving the way for ongoing partnerships and investments. Rosan Roeslani, CEO of Danantara Indonesia, expressed confidence, stating, "The New Asia Forum brings long-term global capital closer to opportunities emerging in Indonesia and the wider region. As a sovereign Indonesian investor and founding partner of the forum, we invite partners to collaborate and leverage these opportunities for long-term value creation."

Richard Attias, founder and CEO of Richard Attias Associates, echoed these sentiments, highlighting that "Asia has primarily been seen as a destination for global capital for decades. This narrative is evolving as the New Asia region will not only attract capital but will increasingly create, guide, and dictate how it can make the most significant impact. We are entering one of the most crucial investment cycles of our generation, and Asia is at the center of it."

More than 1,000 leaders from various sectors will converge at the New Asia Forum, where over 100 speakers will provide insights through more than 40 sessions over the two-day event. This gathering is poised to set the foundation for a new era of investment, ensuring that Asia's vibrant potential is fully realized in the global market.

The New Asia Forum stands as a beacon for future investments, creating pathways for collaboration and sustainable economic growth that aligns with the ever-evolving marketplace in Asia. With its strategic focus and the backing of influential leaders, the forum aims to leverage opportunities that will shape the region's economic landscape for decades to come.
