EQUES Launches AI and Digital Transformation Learning Platform for Pharmaceutical Industry

EQUES Launches AI and Digital Transformation Learning Platform

EQUES, a startup emerging from the University of Tokyo's Matsuo lab, has recently launched an e-learning platform titled "AI×DX Terakoya Learning". This innovative platform is designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry, where it integrates practical AI training into business operations. As AI research and development continue to advance in the sector, EQUES aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technologies and their practical applications in everyday processes.

Background of the Service

The pharmacy sector is increasingly adopting generative AI solutions, yet it faces significant hurdles. One major challenge is the stringent regulatory environments, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), which can restrict the implementation of new tools and technologies. It has become evident that merely introducing AI tools isn’t enough; the workforce needs to effectively utilize these technologies, but many struggle with understanding how to apply them in their daily tasks. To address this, EQUES has been supporting quality assurance operations through its software, QAI-Generator, identifying real-world challenges and honing AI applications that are genuinely beneficial in the field.

Features of the New Service

EQUES’s educational program features several innovative approaches:

1. Microlearning Modules: Each module comprises short, digestible videos lasting around 10 minutes, perfect for busy professionals. Each video comes with a set of five multiple-choice questions designed to reinforce learning and ensure comprehension.

2. Practical Prompt Sharing: To minimize the transition time from theory to practice, the platform allows users to instantly copy practical prompts illustrated in the videos and utilize them in their work environment, effectively eliminating downtime.

3. Progress Tracking: Users have access to a personalized dashboard where they can monitor their course enrollment, completion status, total learning time, and progress rates. Additionally, administrators can oversee their team's overall learning progress to enhance workforce development in alignment with digital transformation (DX) initiatives.

4. Industry-Specific Content: The program currently focuses on materials tailored to the pharmaceutical field, including topics related to GMP. Future plans will expand to cover roles such as Medical Representatives (MR) and other industries.

Subscription and Pricing

EQUES has structured its service to be accessible, offering a monthly subscription fee of 9,900 Japanese Yen per account. This fee provides access to foundational AI knowledge, industry-specific use cases, and a collection of prompt templates tailored for practical application.

The rollout includes an exclusive free trial for ten companies in the pharmaceutical sector, a fantastic opportunity for businesses considering AI integration in their operations.
