Special Collaboration Cafe for 'Galaxy Express Milky Subway'
The long-awaited collaboration cafe between the film 'Galaxy Express Milky Subway' (© Yohei Kameyama / Titan Engineering) and ORBcafe, a brand operated by ORB Co., Ltd. (Headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, CEO: Takuya Kumagai), is set to open on January 14, 2026! This exciting event, organized in partnership with Rencontre LLC (based in Shibuya, Tokyo), will be hosted at the pop-up space 'ZeroBase Shibuya' and will be available for a limited time.
The interstellar train 'Milky Subway' will briefly stop at ZeroBase Shibuya! Attendees will have the chance to experience a photo spot reminiscent of a memorable scene from the film—the iconic mug shot from when characters were arrested for violating intergalactic traffic laws.
The cafe will feature a variety of unique offerings, including original menu items inspired by the film's universe and exclusive merchandise featuring newly illustrated designs that every fan will adore.

About 'Galaxy Express Milky Subway'
This story follows the adventures of Chiharu, a modified human arrested for violating intergalactic traffic laws, and Makina, a cyborg. They, along with a quirky cast of characters—Akane and Kanata, enhanced humans, and cyborgs Kurt and Max—are tasked by police officer Ryoko to perform community service by cleaning the 'Milky Subway.' What was meant to be a simple task turns into chaos as the train suddenly goes haywire! This spectacular space train adventure unfolds with no hidden agendas or motivations—just pure excitement!
