On January 7, 2025, Ionomr Innovations Inc. marked a pivotal moment in its evolution by opening a new development and manufacturing center in Hood Park, located in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology that allows Ionomr to produce 750,000 m2 of membrane products annually, catering to a production capacity of up to 10 gigawatts.
Moreover, the state-of-the-art center features advanced coating equipment that facilitates a smooth transition from prototype to initial production phases, specifically for fuel cell components and cost-effective hydrogen production systems. In addition, the facility houses specialized test stations for fuel cells and electrolyzers, reinforcing Ionomr’s unique reference design strategy while bolstering ongoing customer application support.
