In an exciting development for the energy sector, OverIT, a globally recognized leader in Field Service Management (FSM) software, has established a strategic partnership with Live Reply GmbH to aid EWE NETZ GmbH in revolutionizing its workforce management processes.
EWE NETZ, a prominent distribution system operator in Germany, is known for its commitment to integrating renewable energy sources into its operations, along with managing extensive energy and telecommunication networks.

The new collaboration between these companies aims to streamline various operational activities related to the maintenance and expansion of EWE NETZ’s vast infrastructure, which encompasses approximately 83,000 km of electricity networks and 57,000 km of gas networks. This will involve significant steps towards modernization, including upgrades, construction, and rapid fault rectification.

Utilizing the innovative OverIT NextGen Platform, EWE NETZ anticipates improvements across a range of workforce management tasks, starting from meticulous planning and order preparation to efficient task assignment and execution in the field. With the deployment of a skilled workforce of around 650 technicians, the goal is to ensure resources are deployed effectively to increase productivity and performance.

A key benefit of this new system is that it will allow EWE NETZ employees to concentrate on their core competencies, reducing overall complexity. The platform is designed to support end-to-end digitization and automation, providing a user-friendly and intuitive experience for the workforce.
