Actor Masaki Kasamatsu Attends Jaeger-LeCoultre's 1931 POLO CLUB Event

Jaeger-LeCoultre Celebrates 1931 POLO CLUB with Masaki Kasamatsu

From November 6 to 30, 2023, Jaeger-LeCoultre will showcase the <1931 POLO CLUB> at the Ginza Namiki Boutique, featuring an exquisite exhibition of the iconic Reverso timepieces. The grand opening on November 10 was graced by renowned actor Masaki Kasamatsu, who embodied the elegance and craftsmanship of the Maison by wearing the new Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds.

During this exclusive event, attendees can explore a special display that includes rare archive pieces of the Reverso collection, with several models making their debut in Japan. Masaki Kasamatsu's presence added a unique charm, as he interacted with the Reverso's captivating story—the essence of Art Deco and the watch's innovative beauty through its reversible case.

Wearing the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds, Kasamatsu's poised demeanor resonated with the watch's refined design, vividly illustrating Jaeger-LeCoultre's essence. His genuine interest in the exhibition's details, from the craftsmanship involved to the rich history of the Reverso, showcased the deep connection between the actor and this iconic timepiece.

In his comments, Kasamatsu stated: "Through Reverso, I feel both 'strength' and 'serenity' that transcends time. The creativity behind the reversible case and the stories encapsulated within a single watch truly astonished me. This exhibition provided a rare experience to delve deeply into that world."

Notably, this year marks the 100th anniversary of the 1925 International Exposition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris, which significantly popularized the Art Deco style. The Reverso continues to epitomize the spirit of this era, blending geometric beauty with functionality, remaining true to its heritage while continuously evolving.

This special exhibition will feature precious archive pieces, including the Reverso Geographique from 1998 and the original 1930s Reverso, highlighting the theme of "heritage and innovation" that the brand cherishes.

Visitors can immerse themselves in this exclusive event, running until November 30, and can also participate in guided tours available in Japanese. For reservations, please visit Jaeger-LeCoultre’s online booking platform.
