As part of the global initiative to promote breastfeeding, NPO La Leche League Japan is thrilled to announce a series of events during World Breastfeeding Week, occurring in the first week of August. This annual celebration began in 1992 and has aimed to raise awareness about the countless benefits of breastfeeding and to foster a supportive community for mothers everywhere.

This year's theme is "Nurturing a Sustainable Future through Breastfeeding: Strengthening Effective Initiatives," which emphasizes the importance of breastfeeding for the health of our planet and future generations. With events scheduled across the country, participants can engage in discussions around various topics related to breastfeeding and childcare.

Whether you are a seasoned mother or a first-time parent, there's something for everyone, including online events that ensure accessibility for all, regardless of location. Let’s explore the various ways to adapt breastfeeding to fit your unique lifestyle!
