MindEdge and Leading Through Institute's Leadership Initiative
In an exciting new development, MindEdge Learning has partnered with the Leading Through Institute (LTI) to launch the
Leading Through Foundations certificate. This innovative online program aims to introduce a revolutionary model of leadership that is imperative for modern organizations. Founded on the understanding that traditional leadership methods often focus too heavily on authority and position, this approach promotes a more inclusive and empowering style of leadership.
A New Kind of Leadership
The Leading Through Foundations certificate signifies a concerted effort by LTI and MindEdge to reshape what leadership means in today's dynamic environment. Under the guidance of Kim Clark, founder of LTI, the program seeks to instigate a transformation in how organizations perceive and implement leadership strategies.
Kim Clark states, _“To make Leading Through a reality, we need a fundamental reinvention – maybe even a revolution – of what leadership represents.”_
This program reflects a breakthrough move from hierarchical notions of leadership to a model where everyone in an organization is considered a potential leader. The Leading Through paradigm encourages every individual to take initiative, contribute meaningfully, and lead from their current position. As Joe Mullen, president of MindEdge Learning, notes, _“This program is the first step in changing the way organizations think about leadership, and we are proud to be playing a major role in that change.”_
The Structure of the Program
The Leading Through Foundations certificate consists of four distinct courses, each designed to take no more than four hours of onscreen instruction:
1.
The Leadership We Need
2.
What Is Leadership?
3.
Power Over – Undermining the Leadership We Need
4.
Leading Through Activating the Leadership We Need
Along with online instruction, various personal reflection questions and
“deep learning” exercises are integrated throughout the courses, allowing participants to engage in micro-experiments that stimulate practical learning experiences. The courses will initially be offered as self-paced, asynchronous modules to cater to diverse learning preferences.
Plans for Future Learning Opportunities
Looking ahead, LTI plans to introduce a cohort learning model in 2026, facilitating synchronous online sessions where learners can collaborate, discuss, and engage in projects together. This interactive component aims to enhance the learning experience by fostering a community of aspiring leaders.
Additionally, LTI is set to release two more collections of certificate programs:
- - Humanizing Leadership: Leading Through Soul, Heart and Mind – A 20-hour program focusing on nurturing essential leadership qualities through self-discovery and practical strategies.
- - Scaling Leadership: Activating the Leading Through Organization – A 20-hour program that examines how leadership can be integrated as an operating system within organizations for holistic development.
