The popular children's book series "Kobito-zukan" by Toshitaka Nabata will host a spectacular event titled "Kobito Autumn Festival - Autumn Kobito Research" starting from October 24, 2025. This exciting festival will take place at GALLERY ZENON in Kichijoji, Tokyo, with the aim of immersing visitors in the fascinating world of Kobito. Known for its engaging storytelling and whimsical characters, the "Kobito-zukan" series has sold over 3.1 million copies and is beloved by children and families alike.

Event Overview

The festival will run until November 24, 2025. Visitors can expect a variety of activities designed to engage all five senses. Highlights include:

- A planetarium show themed around the elusive "Kakure Momojiri"
- Challenging Kobito quizzes with certificates for successful participants
- Hands-on workshops in the Kobito Craft Studio, where attendees can create paper accessories and other crafts
- Fascinating displays in Dr. Kobito's Research Lab
- Unique opportunities to experience the scents of Kobito
- Transformative photo spots to capture memorable moments
- Merchandise sales featuring new and classic items from the series
- A collaborative café offering special Kobito-themed menu items

On the final day of the festival, a special signing event will occur where attendees can enter a lottery for a chance to have their favorite Kobito illustrated by the creator, Toshitaka Nabata.

Treasure Hunt Collaboration

In addition to the festival, the event is partnered with the interactive Musashino City Treasure Hunting 15! This treasure hunt will commence on October 11, 2025, and participants will explore capitalizing on Kichijoji's bookstores in a mission against the mischievous Kobito "Arashikurobane". This event is free of charge and encourages family fun within the Kichijoji community, leading to exciting treasures upon finding the Kobito characters within designated stores.

How to Participate in the Signing Event

To enter the lottery for the signing event, visitors must purchase Kobito merchandise worth 1,100 yen from the Gallery Zenon shop to receive a lottery ticket. Entries will be collected until November 16, 2025. This allows plenty of time to join in on the fun and excitement surrounding this magical series!
