Sonic the Hedgehog Celebrates 35 Years with New Album and Special Live Event

Sega has exciting news for fans of the iconic blue hedgehog! On June 24, 2026, they will release a special album titled Forever Fast - 35th Anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog. This compilation features an impressive collection of vocal themes spanning from the series' milestone 3D title, Sonic Adventure, to the latest installment, Sonic Racing Cross Worlds. The album includes a total of 22 tracks, which brilliantly capture the essence of Sonic throughout the years, including a new recording of Escape From The City, performed by Nathan Sharp, who is also known as NateWantsToBattle.

In addition to the album, Sega is also hosting a spectacular live music event titled SONIC - LIVE! A Musical Odyssey of Sonic the Hedgehog on June 28, 2026. This event promises to be a thrilling experience where attendees can fully immerse themselves in the musical journey of the Sonic franchise. The concert will showcase the vocal tracks and scores that have defined Sonic’s 35-year legacy, featuring a specially assembled band and an orchestral performance.
