2025 Subaru Share the Love® Event: A Record-Breaking Year



In an inspiring show of commitment to community and philanthropy, Subaru of America, Inc. announced that the 2025 Subaru Share the Love® Event raised over $26 million for a diverse range of charitable organizations. This initiative, now in its 18th year, brings the total amount donated since its inception to more than $346 million. The funds primarily support both national entities and local charities, demonstrating Subaru's mission to foster positive change where it is most needed.

During this annual event, customers purchasing or leasing a new Subaru vehicle were given the opportunity to select a charity to receive a donation from Subaru. Participants could designate their contributions to one of four national partners—The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels America, or the National Park Foundation. Additionally, they could opt to benefit local charities identified by Subaru retailers.

This year was particularly noteworthy, as it marked a record-breaking 839 hometown charities receiving support, the largest number ever. The contributions channeled through these organizations totaled over $18.6 million, showcasing the extensive impact of Subaru's community-focused approach.

Jeff Walters, President and Chief Operating Officer of Subaru of America, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming participation from the Subaru community. He stated, “The Subaru Share the Love Event inspires the Subaru community to support causes that matter most to them. Coming together on behalf of our national partners and a record number of hometown charities, Subaru, our retailer network, and our customers have helped continue to drive meaningful impact for communities nationwide.”

The program's emphasis on local charities ensures that the money raised goes directly to critical needs in communities, enhancing the quality of life for numerous families and individuals across the country. Each year, Subaru and its national charities continue to innovate, striving to address pressing social issues through collaborative initiatives and targeted support.

Since the program’s inception in 2008, Subaru has cultivated a culture of compassion and responsibility within its customer base. From November 20, 2025, through January 2, 2026, Subaru and its retailers committed to donating a minimum of $300 to charity for every vehicle sold or leased, successfully engaging customers in the spirit of giving.
