Kuribayashi Shipping Group and Keio MCC's Leadership Training 2025



In an effort to build a strong foundation for the next 100 years, Kuribayashi Shipping Group recently conducted a two-day leadership training session on November 13-14, 2025, in collaboration with Keio Marunouchi City Campus (Keio MCC). This initiative is part of their ongoing internal talent development program known as "Hotokusei Juku."

What is Hotokusei Juku?


Hotokusei Juku, established in April 2024, serves as a corporate training academy for the Kuribayashi Group. The main goal is to deepen the understanding of the company's philosophy among employees and to cultivate the next generation of leaders who will take charge in the future. The name is inspired by the famous adage “efforts lead to success,” reflecting both a motivational heritage and the company’s origins in Hokkaido.

  • - Participants: 25 executives from 9 group companies (average age: 50; average tenure: 21 years)
