The Japanese Society of Cinematographers (JSC) has announced the launch of the second phase of the Cinematic Quantum (CQ) program, set to commence in April 2026. This initiative aims to nurture internationally capable talent in film production while promoting cultural exchange.

The second phase will focus on two main educational formats: the Master Class for seasoned professionals and the Academy Class aimed at the next generation of filmmakers.

1. Master Class
Targeting accomplished professionals involved in film, drama, commercials, and online content, this advanced class will invite top cinematographers and creators from around the globe. Participants will share insights on visual philosophy, design, team communication, and on-set decision-making, fostering a blend of practical and artistic knowledge.
