Street Fighter 6 Introduces Ingrid and New Game Modes for Year 3!

Ingrid Joins Street Fighter 6

On May 28, 2026, Ingrid makes her long-awaited debut as the final character in Year 3 of Street Fighter 6! Previously seen in CAPCOM FIGHTING Jam, Ingrid is renowned for her unique fighting style that utilizes the power of the sun. Players can now explore her abilities across three engaging modes: World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground.

Master the Power of the Sun

In the World Tour mode, players will encounter Ingrid, who acts as a mentor. Not only will she teach new techniques, but players can also deepen their bond through gifts and missions. To meet Ingrid, players need to complete:
1. Chapter 12-1: “Anti-Government Kalima”
2. Check the “OTHER DAYS” menu for “Other-Dimensional Beauty, Descending!”

With newly learned techniques from Ingrid, players can show off their skills in the Battle Hub. The character-specific storyline will be the last added to the World Tour, but previously released content will remain playable.

Exciting Gameplay Modes and Styles

In Fighting Ground, players can dive into the Arcade Mode featuring Ingrid's unique story, while engaging in thrilling versus matches or rank matches against opponents.

Additionally, Ingrid’s new “Outfit 2,” showcasing her iconic purple sailor uniform, is available for purchase. Achieving maximum bond level in World Tour or reaching max gauge in Avatar Arcade will also unlock her stylish outfit.

Moreover, players can experience Ingrid’s new theme song, “Potentially Cosmic-Level Beauty,” which is also currently streaming!

New Avatar Modes Launch!

The introduction of the Avatar Random Match and Avatar Arcade, included in a free update, enables players to easily jump into PvP battles with shared stats and parameters. The one-player mode allows for efficient growth while battling against CPU opponents, promising exciting challenges for building one’s ultimate fighter!

Year 3 characters, including Ingrid, Sagat, C. Viper, and Alex, are also getting a fresh look with the release of “Outfit 3,” featuring stylish designs that highlight their diverse personalities.

Free Outfit and Special Campaign

Alongside Ingrid’s launch, a new outfit called “DriveTech Wear” is given to all players, designed for comfort and functionality, perfect for battles!

To celebrate Ingrid's entry, a social media campaign will be held, providing opportunities to win exclusive items such as acrylic panel stands featuring Ingrid’s graffiti art.
