SHIBUYA PHOTO BOOK FAIR: A Must-Visit Event this Summer

The vibrancy of Shibuya comes alive this summer with the arrival of the SHIBUYA PHOTO BOOK FAIR, taking place at the 8th floor 8/COURT of Shibuya Hikarie on the 11th and 12th of July. This exciting two-day event gathers local bookstores and shops connected to Shibuya, creating a unique community space for photo enthusiasts.

An Artistic Collaboration

This fair is part of a broader initiative called SHIBUYA ART WEEKEND, associated with the large photography exhibition ''The Miraculous Gaze: Adventures of Japanese Women Photographers held at the Hikarie Hall. Co-organized by Tokyu Corporation and Bunkamura, the fair aims to celebrate the unique perspectives captured by women photographers, along with the relationship between urban life and photography. Visitors can discover an array of photo books, zines, and various goods, all reflecting the theme of ''The Gaze of Women'' and ''Urban Perspectives''.
