HandMade In Japan Fes' 2026: Celebrating Creativity in Tokyo

From July 11 to 12, 2026, Tokyo Big Sight will transform into Japan's largest gathering for creators at the HandMade In Japan Fes'. Organized by Creema, a prominent handmade marketplace in Japan, this event promises a rich experience showcasing the ingenuity and craftsmanship of 3,000 creators from across the country. Participants will have the opportunity not only to shop for original, handmade items but also to engage in a variety of hands-on workshops.

Featuring Diverse Creators and Unique Offerings

This festival will include a marketplace where visitors can explore a vast array of creations; from jewelry and fashion accessories to home decor, kitchen goods, art pieces, ceramics, and more. Each booth, adorned with original works, reflects the personal touch and creativity of its creator, promising shoppers an intimate experience where they can meet these artists in person.

In addition to the marketplace, foodies will be delighted by an exclusive area dedicated to handmade culinary treats, featuring 90 food vendors providing delicious, locally made items. This culinary segment allows attendees to connect with the artisans behind their meals, creating an enriching atmosphere of interaction.

Engaging Workshops to Unleash Creativity

One of the festival's highlights is its workshops, offering 70 different crafting experiences led by skilled artisans and popular creators. Participants can discover and learn traditional crafts like Kintsugi (golden joinery), glass engraving, leatherworks, and even floral arrangements and terrarium making. Pre-registration for some workshops is now open, allowing eager attendees to secure their spots.

Exciting Performances and Entertainment

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, the festival will also host a Yoshimoto comedy show featuring three hilarious groups: Ultra Boogies, Barikata Yujomai, and Ichigo. Scheduled for July 12 from 11:50 AM to 12:40 PM, this live comedy session promises to provide hilarious entertainment as these talented comedians bring joy and laughter to the audience.
