On November 14, an art exhibition entitled "The Road of White Porcelain - From China's Dehua to Italy's Gubbio" opened in the charming town of Gubbio, located in the Umbrian mountains. This significant event signifies a renewed chapter in the relationship between two rich ceramic traditions. The exhibition is a celebration of the legendary white porcelain from Dehua, known for its refined quality, and Gubbio, revered for its majolica pottery and vibrant glazing techniques.

Dehua, situated in the central province of Fujian, is recognized as a cradle of Chinese ceramic culture. In an interview with Xinhua, Wu Zhipu, the mayor of Dehua, articulated the historical depth of their porcelain craftsmanship. He highlighted that Gubbio's artistic heritage includes distinctive designs and contemporary expressions, culminating in a unique cultural exchange.
