The Nashville Oktoberfest returns for its 47th year, bringing a taste of Germany to the heart of Music City at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park from October 1st to 4th, 2026. The Nashville Oktoberfest is designed to be a cultural feast, celebrating everything authentic to Bavarian traditions. Over four days, attendees can expect a full schedule of events including live performances from bands like Kraken’s Release, alongside traditional polka music and engaging local acts. Key Highlights of the Festival:
On October 1st, the celebrations kick off with Community Day. Gates open at 5 p.m., and the festival will commence with an opening ceremony at 5:30 p.m., featuring the traditional keg-tapping ceremony. This day offers complimentary admission but requires a free online reservation.

As the festival progresses, there will be plenty to indulge in with a delightful selection of German and local beers, scrumptious foods, and a range of unique competitions. The “5K Bier Run,” set for October 3rd, will see participants race through the scenic Germantown, combining fitness with leisure.

Moreover, culinary contests like the Brat Eating Contest, alongside the popular Dachshund Derby on the final day, provide unique experiences that go beyond just enjoying drinks and food. New this year, Jägermeister returns as the Official Shot of the event, solidifying its partnership role.

A three-day VIP Weekend Pass can be purchased for $347.
