Amplify Desmos Math Receives All-Green Ratings from EdReports
In a significant milestone for educational resources, Amplify Desmos Math has achieved an all-green rating across all three gateways from EdReports. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the program's excellence in meeting the latest standards outlined in EdReports' 2.0 Review Criteria for K-8 math curriculum, which were updated last year.
Amplify, a leader in next-generation curriculum and assessment programs, has designed Amplify Desmos Math to foster deep, lasting understanding in mathematics among students. The curriculum is strategically built on a foundation of curiosity-driven learning, allowing students not only to solve problems but to engage deeply with mathematical concepts through collaboration and discussion. This structured approach to learning equips teachers to develop classrooms where students are not just passive recipients of information but active participants in their educational journey.
Built upon the successful Desmos Math 6-8 curriculum, Amplify Desmos Math has shown demonstrable improvements in student math performance, as evidenced by a recent efficacy study conducted by WestEd. This research highlighted increased math achievement in over 900 schools spread across nine states. As of the 2025–2026 school year, the program already supports more than 23,000 teachers and impacts over one million students, underscoring its wide-reaching effect in classrooms nationwide.
Jason Zimba, Amplify’s Chief Academic Officer for STEM, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this achievement: "We’re thrilled to receive an all-green rating from EdReports for Amplify Desmos Math. We built the program to help teachers nurture students' natural curiosity and enjoyment of math, while ensuring the rigor needed for mastery. Our research-backed approach creates an environment rich in mathematical discussions, enabling students to develop genuine, enduring mathematical skills and understanding."
One standout feature of Amplify Desmos Math is its integration within the Amplify Classroom, a comprehensive digital ecosystem designed to streamline the teaching and learning process. This platform consolidates data from core curricula, assessments, and supplementary programs into a single location, allowing educators to closely monitor student progress and provide tailored support where it is most needed.
The recent achievement places Amplify Desmos Math alongside other successful Amplify products that have also earned all-green ratings, including Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) and Amplify Science. With this designation, Amplify Desmos Math marks the fifth program from the company to receive such recognition from EdReports.
