PSO2 New Genesis Updates: Extra Duel and More

Sega has rolled out a substantial update for its popular online RPG, PSO2 New Genesis ver.2, with new content and features launched on December 10, 2025, enriching the gaming experience for players.

New Stages in Extra Duel: The Onslaught of Starfall

The update introduces Stages 7 and 8 in the Extra Duel titled “The Onslaught of Starfall,” inviting players to challenge formidable enemies. In Stage 7, players will face Zerevin, while Ringwedge awaits in Stage 8. Additionally, two new boss enemies, High Zerevin and High Ringwedge, make their debut, raising the stakes even higher.

Completing Rank 5 in this duel grants players the chance to obtain accessories modeled after certain enemies, such as the Vael Ring and the Ringwedge Foot Ring. Players are encouraged to take on the duel to earn these unique items, while new title tasks have been added to earn the coveted N-Master Cube.

New Build Parts for Decor

This update also introduces exciting new build parts, including BP Taiko Drum and BP Shamisen, allowing players to enhance their Creative Space or Team Space. These parts enable users to express their creativity and personalize their gaming environments further.

Mission Pass Season 51: NGS Awaits!

With the newly launched Mission Pass Season 51, players can now collect luxurious rewards by completing tasks and earning stars. Accumulate enough stars to increase your tier, unlocking exciting rewards along the way. This pass includes valuable items like the 3-day My Shop Booth, SG Scratch exchange tickets, along with accessories such as the Yarktofelle from the original PSO2, and brand new accessories including the Rappy Tote Bag and Rappy Hairpin. Additionally, players can acquire color variations of movement modification items like Glide: Snow Tube during this season.

SG Scratch Lineup Update

The SG Scratch feature has also been updated, running from December 10, 2025, to April 8, 2026. It introduces three new items, including clothing from Naderlef and special attire like the Counter Coat and Marie’s Dress adapted for NGS. A special lobby action, Strong Hit, will also be available as part of the reward bonuses.

Revival of AC Scratch Items

Two revival AC scratch events are set to take place: the Lobby Action & Motion Revival and the AC Support Item Select Dec'25. The former will reintroduce popular motions like Weapon Reflect Pose 5 and action series such as Friends Pose 2, while the latter provides essential items like Ladi Series Abilities essential for enhancing your adventure.

Tips for Enhancing Gear

Players can use earned rewards to strengthen their weapons and gear, aiming to reach new heights in their adventures. There's also a chance to secure an exchange ticket for redeeming unique prizes.
