Discover Japan's Whimsical Hotel Innovations
H.I.S. Hotels are adding a touch of whimsy to the Japanese hospitality scene with several concept rooms and supportive offerings for students aiming for academic success. Recently, they announced the launch of the new
Goldfish Room at Henn na Hotel Tokyo Nishikasai, which will be available starting November 21. This unique room is themed after the local culture of Edogawa Ward, known as the birthplace of goldfish in Japan. The room provides an artistic and calming space decorated with various goldfish designs, drawing on the rich cultural heritage of the area.
Guests staying in the Goldfish Room can enjoy a delightful set of amenities, including a goldfish-scooping candy, a goldfish-shaped bath bomb, and cute goldfish stickers. The rate for this unique experience is
18,000 yen per night, including breakfast, taxes, and service charges. This new addition brings H.I.S. Hotels' total to 71 concept rooms, making it one of the largest selections in the hotel industry.
For students preparing for exams, H.I.S. Hotels offer an
Exam Support Plan starting on the same date, aimed at providing a conducive environment for study and relaxation. Offered at both Henn na Hotel Tokyo Hamamatsucho and Henn na Hotel Premier Nara, this plan includes prayers for success conducted at historical shrines; the
Shiba Daijingu Shrine in Hamamatsucho, celebrated for its 1,000-year history, and Japan's oldest Tenmangu Shrine,
Sugawara Tenmangu, in Nara.
This plan features essential amenities, such as a desk lamp, a humidifier-equipped air purifier, and sleep improvement items. As an added bonus, guests will receive a
5% discount coupon for their next stay. The pricing starts from
9,500 yen with breakfast or
8,000 yen for a room only basis, inclusive of all charges.
In another initiative, the
Henn na Hotel Premier Kyoto Gojo is hosting a
Kimono Experience event in collaboration with the
Kimono Concierge on December 6. This event allows guests to try on beautiful kimonos hassle-free. For just
4,400 yen, attendees can rent a kimono after trying it on, while also enjoying a
yoyo fishing game for
500 yen.
These innovative offerings not only cater to the immediate fun experiences but also honor local traditions and culture while supporting students during a crucial time in their lives. The combination of whimsy and culture at H.I.S. Hotels' locations provides an engaging atmosphere for residents and travelers alike, ensuring memorable experiences and crucial support when needed most.
