Managed by Transit Operation Services, this outdoor complex offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, culture, and outdoor adventure. Starting from selected Saturdays in August and September 2026, families who might feel hesitant about camping can participate in a special two-day program assisted by Camping Masters.

The venue is designed with the principles of 'slow travel,' emphasizing local culture and nature. The Camping Master will guide families through the camping process, ensuring an enjoyable and stress-free experience. Families will have access to the expansive FLEX FIELD auto camping site, where they can drive in with their SUVs and set up in a spacious and private environment, free from the hassle of moving heavy gear.

Visitors will check in early at 11 AM, beginning their adventure with workshops that utilize natural materials, stargazing sessions, and hands-on culinary experiences. The first day offers a chance to craft bamboo lanterns using electric drills and enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner cooked over the fire they have started. As night falls, families can look forward to a stargazing session, gazing up at the starry sky with refreshments in hand.

The next morning, they will enjoy a hearty breakfast of freshly made hot sandwiches before checking out. For those wishing to extend their time in the picturesque area, FOLKWOOD VILLAGE allows guests to continue enjoying the facilities after checkout until 10 AM. Experience the rejuvenating sauna or take part in unique activities like the flowing soba noodle experience in the charming woods of Yatsugatake.
