NAWBO® Appoints New Leadership for 2026-2027 Board and Institute Initiative

On July 7, 2026, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) announced the installation of its National Board and Institute for the upcoming term. Thresette Briggs, the Founder and Chief Performance Officer of Performance 3, takes the helm as Chair of the NAWBO National Board of Directors, while Lisa Brunet, CEO and Co-Founder of DLZP Group, assumes the role of Chair for the NAWBO Institute for Entrepreneurial Development.

Established to advocate for the interests of female entrepreneurs, NAWBO represents over 15 million women-owned businesses across the United States. In Washington, D.C., the organization engages with lawmakers, educating them on the unique challenges faced by women in business, and proposing actionable solutions.
