Alliant University Launches New Grant for Occupational Therapy Students

Alliant University has announced an exciting new initiative aimed at making graduate education in the field of occupational therapy more affordable and accessible. The Occupational Therapy Futures Grant will significantly reduce tuition costs for newly admitted students starting from the Spring 2026 semester. As the demand for occupational therapists continues to rise, this grant serves as an essential tool for supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Details of the Grant Program

Starting with the Spring 2026 Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) cohort, 20 students will benefit from the grant, which will cut down their tuition to an estimated total of $24,960 for the full course, which consists of 80 units. Each recipient will pay approximately $312 per unit, although additional fees may apply.

Eligibility Requirements

The grant is exclusively available to new, fully admitted students for the Spring 2026 MOT program. Current students will not qualify, and the grant cannot be combined with other scholarships or waivers offered by Alliant University. To maintain eligibility, students must enroll full-time, remain continuously enrolled, and achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout their studies.

Application Process

Interested candidates are strongly encouraged to apply early due to the limited funding, with grants being awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The priority application deadline is set for November 16, while the general application deadline is December 15.
