Starlight Investments Expands Its UK Portfolio

This time, the firm has announced the acquisition of a new community of 300 built-to-rent (BTR) suites located in Leeds, which showcases its commitment to enhancing its portfolio in key cities.

The property, secured from Leeds-based Torsion Group, benefits from a prime location on the eastern edge of Leeds city center. Its proximity to popular districts like Kirkgate and various leisure amenities makes it an attractive choice for potential residents. The site is currently under construction, with the BTR complex designed as two towers featuring ten and seventeen stories. It will house a variety of apartments, including one, two, and three-bedroom units and 63 underground parking spaces.

Upon completion, residents will enjoy a high-quality living environment enriched with modern amenities such as a state-of-the-art gym, a cinema, and two rooftop terraces, all designed with sustainability in mind. These features are aimed at catering to the needs of professionals and students, as Leeds is known for its diverse architectural landscape, vibrant art scene, and strong employment and educational sectors.

This acquisition marks Starlight’s second significant investment in Leeds within this year alone, cementing the city’s role in the company’s European asset management strategy. More than 3,600 suites are now under the management of Starlight UK, reflecting a robust growth trajectory.
