Opening Doors to Science: Summer School 2025
Japan Women's University (JWU), located in Bunkyo, Tokyo, is pleased to announce the upcoming "Summer School 2025" taking place from August 6th to 8th. Launched in 2004, this annual program has introduced approximately 1,200 high school girls to the fascinating world of science over the past 21 years. The initiative aims to help female high school students who have a penchant for mathematics, science, and information technology, or those who may struggle in these areas yet hold a genuine interest.
The event will feature both in-person workshops utilizing the university's state-of-the-art facilities and online courses. Feedback from previous participants has lauded the thorough guidance provided by the university's esteemed faculty, and this year's program promises to be no different.
Summer School 2025 Overview
- - Dates: August 6 (Wednesday), 7 (Thursday), and 8 (Friday)
- - Eligibility: Female high school students
- - Cost: Free (Participants can enroll in up to two courses)
- - Application Period: June 23 (Monday) to July 10 (Thursday)
