The Purpose of the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE

Since its inception in 2019, the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE program has welcomed students from all over Japan to experience various hotel operations. The primary goal is to educate students about the unique aspects of hospitality, involving them in front desk operations, cleanliness, and bed-making. The program emphasizes the significance of collaboration, empathy, and the joy of serving others while fostering their connection to their hometown. As part of the preparatory activities, the program has successfully collaborated with over 60 schools nationwide, with eight schools participating specifically from the Kyushu region, demonstrating its popularity and relevance in career education.

The challenge will take place from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, incorporating both theoretical and practical elements:

• - Learning Segment: An introductory session explaining the hotel industry, the joys and attractions of working in hospitality, and the functions of various departments.
• - Practical Experience: Students will engage in front desk operations, familiarize themselves with hotel etiquette, and practice customer service interactions. Additionally, they will assist in facility management tasks like room checks and preparation for the public bath before its opening, followed by a breakfast tasting session.
