KADOKAWA Invites Over 100 Creators to Tokyo Game Show 2026
KADOKAWA Corporation, based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is excited to announce that its YouTube Multi-Channel Network (MCN), the Creator Support Program (CSP), will invite over 100 creators to attend the Tokyo Game Show 2026, scheduled to be held from September 17 to September 21, 2026, at Makuhari Messe.
The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) has significantly increased its efforts to collaborate with influencers in recent years to boost brand awareness for exhibitors. Continuing from last year, a specific invitation category for creators associated with MCNs and agencies has been established. CSP effectively utilizes this opportunity, facilitating the participation of content creators at the event.
As an MCN, KADOKAWA not only supports the activities of YouTube creators but also contributes to the expansion of awareness for TGS2026 by enabling the publication of event experience reports on social media and other platforms. This approach helps showcase the allure of content from various exhibitors.
What is the Tokyo Game Show?
Since its inaugural event in 1996, the Tokyo Game Show has evolved into one of the largest gaming festivals in the world, celebrating its 30th anniversary. The five-day event consists of two dedicated business days at the start, where industry personnel, media, influencers, and distribution stakeholders can attend. The following three days are open to the general public, attracting a diverse audience from both domestic and international backgrounds. The preceding TGS2025 achieved record-breaking numbers in both exhibitor count and exhibition space.
Understanding the Creator Support Program (CSP)
The Creator Support Program (CSP) leverages YouTube's MCN capabilities alongside a unique secondary utilization management and revenue-sharing system developed by KADOKAWA. This service allows creators and rights holders to gain new revenue and PR opportunities. Initiated in March 2022, KADOKAWA aims to connect global talents with impactful creative experiences under its corporate mission of becoming a creative platformer.
With CSP, KADOKAWA permits the secondary use of various intellectual properties, including its anime and content by creators. This initiative seeks to foster a chain of creativity worldwide. Currently, CSP serves a wide array of creators, including VTubers and streamers, as well as official anime channels and content creators engaging with clips. The program supports over 780 channels with a total of over 68 million subscribers as of March 2026.
For creators and rights holders interested in CSP, KADOKAWA encourages you to reach out for more information.
